Does your heating provide insufficient heat? The water pressure in your boiler is probably too low. Before reporting a fault, it is useful to check the water pressure. If the water pressure is too low (less than 0.8 bar), you must first top up the water to a maximum of 1.8 bar.
- Pull the plug of the boiler from the socket.
- Allow the temperature of the central heating water to cool to approximately 40 degrees.
- Make sure to have a towel or mop and a bucket or tub.
- Connect the hose to the water tap.
- Remove the cap from the central heating fill valve.
- Fill the hose with water and then connect it to the central heating fill valve.
- Open the central heating fill valve (tap turned parallel to the pipe).
- Open the water tap and fill the central heating system to 1.8 bar.
- First close the water tap when the desired pressure has been reached.
- Now close the central heating fill and drain tap.
- Bleed the boiler, pipes and radiators of air.
- If necessary, top up the boiler with water to 1.8 bar again.
- Loosen both hose connections.
- Reinstall the cap on the central heating fill-drain tap.
- Allow the hose to drain and hang it in such a way that no more water can remain in it (legionella prevention).
Plug the power cord of the boiler back into the socket.
